Oslo, 18 July 2014: Yara International ASA delivered strong second-quarter results, with improved European commodity margins due to lower gas price. The results were impacted by lower nitrate deliveries, but NPK deliveries and value- added premiums remained strong.

Oslo (2014-06-17): Following the Borealis acquisition of GPN SA including 52.15% ownership in the Le Havre urea plant, Yara has accepted an offer from Borealis to acquire Borealis' ownership in Le Havre, situated on the north-west coast of France.
Yara currently holds 47.85% in the 320,000 metric tons p.a. urea production facility, and 100% in 400,000 metric ton p.a. ammonia production facility.
BASF and Yara have made good progress with their plan to jointly build a world-scale ammonia plant on the U.S. Gulf Coast. The proposed plant would be located at the existing BASF site in Freeport, Texas, have an annual capacity of 750,000 metric tons, and be based on a hydrogen-synthesis process. Further details of the planned joint venture are currently under discussion between the parties.

Oslo (2014-05-06): The Yara International ASA Annual General Meeting yesterday approved a dividend of NOK 10.00 per share and a new Power of attorney to the Board regarding acquisition of own shares. The new Board elected Leif Teksum as its new chairperson.

Oslo (2014-04-30): Yara International ASA delivered strong first-quarter results, with record deliveries. The results were impacted by lower commodity nitrogen prices, but premiums for Yara's value-added products remained robust.
