Reverse-circulation ('RC') delineation drilling at 25-meter intervals was carried out within the core of the zone in May 2011. To date, we are in receipt of 64 percent of assay results which continue to suggest a high-grade mineralization with some similarities to the gold-producing Nyafe deposit located 3 kilometers east of Fofina (ref. Consistent wide gold mineralizations with zone remaining open in all directions

MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 06/28/11 -- SEMAFO (TSX: SMF) announced today that follow-up drilling has more than doubled the strike length of the gold mineralization to more than 1.5 kilometers on its recently discovered Yaho Zone.
